Branzino & Date Chimichurri
Date Chimichurri!
I wanted to put a spin on chimichurri because I love a good play off sweet & savory to add to my dishes, especially grilled fish. I got the inspo from reading a recent Bon Appetit magazine where one of the editor’s made a spoon sauce..whatever that is and decided to put a spin to my chimichurri recipe.
I added it to grilled branzino and whewwwwwww-weeee it was good! try it below!
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
3 dates, finely chopped
1 lemon, juiced
1 tablespoons, red wine vinegar
1/2 cup GOOD olive oil
salt & pepper, to taste
directions
combine all ingredients in a bowl excep the extra virgin olive oil. slowly drizzle until it becomes well combined. taste to see if it needs more salt or pepper!
