This is a Aunt Flow monthly craving recipe lol…

This is kinda like a mix between a Popeyes chicken sandwich & Chic Fil A but air fried....andddd with homemade blacked cajun ranch because Popeye’s sauces are 🔥 (also, chicken thighs are the holy grail)

Recipe below!

Ingredients (makes 2 sandwiches)
1 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • Potato buns

  • Dill pickles

  • American cheese

  • Your favorite seasonings: I added salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, a cajun spice and smoked paprika and a little olive oil

Blackened Cajun Ranch

  • 1/2 cup mayo (Duke’s is the best)

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 2 tablespoons or so buttermilk

  • 2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley, chopped

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • about 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar (more to thin out the sauce)

  • 1 garlic clove, zested

  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

  • some garlic powder & onion powder

  • a little salt & pepper

Directions

  • Chicken Thighs: Season chicken to your liking. Turn the Air Fryer on 400 degrees and put timer on 15 minutes. Turn chicken over at 8 minutes so both sides are crispy!

  • Blackened Ranch: combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit row an hour in the fridge to deepen the flavor!

  • Add chicken on potato bun with American cheese, dill pickles & lots of ranch!

ENJOY!
