lamb dan dan noodles! saw this recipe in my @bonappetit emails over the break so replaced with ground lamb & obviously measured with my heart because we don’t need exacts & want it extra saucy 🤟🏾very quick & new rotation for take-in night! recipe breakdown-ish below

•about 2 tablespoons white sugar

•about 1/3 cup soy sauce

•about 1/3 cup black vinegar (you can find on amazon or your local international market) or sub rice vinegar

•3 HEAPING like heaping if you like some spice tablespoons chili crisp (@flybyjjng is 🔥it’s at whole foods & amazon)

•3 tablespoons tahini

•1/2lb ground lamb

•4-5 garlic cloves, minced

•about 2 tablespoons chines five spice powder (i used @flybyjing mala spice mix)

•about 1/2 a bog of wide papadelle noodles, cooked to al dente & reserved pasta water

•garnish with lots of green onions

directions

•combine the chili crisp, tahini, soy sauce, black vinegar & sugar in a bowl

•while your noodles are cooking, cook your ground lamb on medium heat with a little vegetable oil & add the five spice powder

•add in the minced garlic & cook til fragrant

•add in noodles directly from the water

•pour in the sauce w/ a little pasta water (the starch from the pasta help binds the sauce to the pasta)

•garnish with green onions & enjoy!
