Mongolian beef 🧡an easy weeknight meal and you don’t have to wash a ton of dishes! I used filet mignon because it v tender!

Ingredients
•1 filet mignon steak, cut into bite size pieces
•about 3/4 of a cup of soy sauce (low sodium:
•2 tablespoons brown sugar (dark or light)
•2 cloves of garlic, grated
•1 inch knob of ginger, grated
•full stalk of green onion, roughly chopped
•1 teaspoon cornstarch (plus a little more reserved for the meat as well)
Directions
Toss steak with a little bit of cornstarch & set aside.
Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
In a large cast iron pan on medium high heat with some neutral cooking oil, sear the steak, remove & set aside.
Add the sauce into the pan then add the steak and toss well to combine, cooking for about 4 minutes, give or take.
Add the green onions, toss to combine & serve over rice! enjoy! 🧡
