jerk shrimp mac n cheese
Jerk shrimp mac n cheese!
Basically was craving a personal pan of mac n cheese so i put a little spin on it!

Ingredients
•1/2lb macaroni shells (half the box)
•8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated
•4 oz pepper jack cheese grated
•2-3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
•about 1/2 cup evaporated milk
•1-2 heaping tablespoons of mild jamaican jerk seasoning (I like walkerwood but had grace in my fridge)
•1 teaspoon AP flour
•1 cup LARGE shrimp, raw & deveined
•s&p, garlic powder & onion powder for seasoning
•a tinyyyyy grate of nutmeg!
•green onions for garnish
Directions
•Pre-heat oven to 350
•In salted water, boil noodles according to box instructions just a minute short of al dente.
•Parboil the shrimp! drop them in the boiling water while noodles are cooking for 10 seconds, remove & set aside
•In a large bowl, combine the hot shells, butter, cheddar & pepper jack cheese, shrimp, jerk seasoning & evaporated milk
•Season to your liking with s&p, onion powder & garlic powder. grate some nutmeg in it too!
•Give or take you may add a little more evaporated milk until you hear the sound…best example is WAP 😂
•Place in greased cast iron pan, sprinkle with extra cheese & cook until bubbly (about 25 minutes)
•Garnish with green onions!
